Simple French Toast Recipe

▢4 large eggs ▢2/3 cup milk ▢1/4 cup all-purpose flour ▢1/4 cup granulated sugar ▢1/4 teaspoon salt ▢1 teaspoon ground cinnamon ▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract ▢8 thick slices bread

Ingredients:

Preheat a griddle to 350 degrees F or heat up a skillet over medium heat.

Instructions:

In a blender or bowl, mix together the eggs, flour, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.

Dip the bread slices into the batter on both sides so they are well coated.

Cook the battered bread for a few minutes per side on the hot griddle or skillet until lightly browned.

Remove the French toast from the griddle/skillet and place on a plate.

Serve warm with syrup and powdered sugar sprinkled on top.
