Herbaceous Thai Turkey Burgers Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey (90% lean) 1⁄4 cup panko breadcrumbs 1 shallot, minced 2 garlic cloves, minced 1 tablespoon red curry paste 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice 1 tablespoon fish sauce 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten

Instructions

In a large bowl, gently combine all ingredients except buns and toppings until just mixed.

Form into 4 equal patties, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Grill burgers over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes per side until cooked through.

Serve on buns with desired toppings like lettuce, tomato, avocado, etc.
