1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 1 tablespoon white sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 1/4 cups milk 1 egg 3 tablespoons butter, melted
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg, and melted butter. Whisk together until just combined.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease with a little butter or oil.
Pour the batter by 1/4 cups onto the hot skillet. Cook until bubbles appear on the surface and the bottom is golden brown, about 2 minutes.
Flip and cook until golden brown on the second side, 1-2 more minutes.
Repeat with the remaining batter, greasing the skillet between batches if needed.
Serve pancakes warm with your favorite toppings like maple syrup, fresh fruit, peanut butter, whipped cream, chocolate chips or hazelnut spread.
